Yanmar Three Point Hitch Category
Almost all Yanmar tractors are going to be a version of Category 1. There are some exceptions like the YM1510 and YM1602, for example, that never had a factory 3 point hitch available as an option. Instead they were sold with a special tiller that attached to the tractor's upper lift arms. The 1510, for example, has very small side link pin holes (about 1/2") though you can get updated arms with bigger holes. Almost all of the other Yanmars, however, had a slightly narrower version of the Category 1 hitch.
In order to use standard Category 1 implements with the smaller frame Yanmars you might have trouble getting the lift arms wide enough to attach to the implement. You might need to get offset lift arms which get wider after they clear the rear tires or, if possible, turn your implement's lift pins to point inward instead of outward so they are not as wide.
Many Yanmar tractors have rear wheels that are offset one direction more than the other. Be sure that you have the wheels mounted to be as wide as possible to help get extra room for the three point arms. If your rear wheels are mounted with them at the narrower position you can simply swap the left & right wheels and the tire tread will still be going the correct direction.
For some reason the lift arm spacing is not really an industry standard- more like a suggestion or starting point. None of the various tractor brands and implement brands that I have owned over the years follow the width dimension closely. You really start to notice this when you start using a quick hitch.
