Shop Notes: Torque the center bolt to 123-152ft lbs. It is extremely important that you use the heavy-duty washer. If you use a thinner washer, it will bow in the middle and your hub will come loose. Re-torque your bolt after operating the tractor for a couple of hours and make sure things have not moved and the bolt is still tight.
More Shop Notes: These hubs can be extremely difficult to remove if the splines have rusted to each other. We highly recommend renting a good puller if you don't have one. Most local auto parts stores will rent them for a very small fee if not for free. When re-installing the hub, be sure that the splines are completely clean because any dirt or rust will make the hub come loose.
