If your casting has wear grooves or rust pitting then a new seal might not fix your leak. This handy repair sleeve will restore the surface to perfectly smooth condition and be sure that your seal does not leak.

1 New Repair Sleeve
1 Install Tool

Instructions:
This repair sleeve will slide onto the casting where the seal rides against the housing. It is important that the casting in that area is as smooth as possible so that the sleeve slides on easily. You will need to wire brush off any loose rust or dirt. Apply a thin film of RTV silicone to the casting where the repair collar will go. Use the included tool to gently tap the collar onto the casting being sure to install it as straight as possible or it can bind up and ruin the sleeve. Let the silicone cure according to the instructions on the tube and then re-assemble the knuckle halves normally.
