REPAIR COLLAR

This sleeve will slide onto your casting to repair wear grooves and minor rust pitting. This is a great way to salvage an expensive casting.

Important Install Note:
* TEST FIT YOUR REPAIR COLLAR INTO THE LOWER HOUSING BEFORE INSTALLING ANYTHING. * Some of Yanmar's lower castings are a little tighter than others for some reason. Most of the time the repair collars fit right into the lower castings without any problem but some lower castings will have to be opened up a little bit. Most of the time it amounts to just cleaning up the rough casting edges with a die grinder or file. It does not have to go to a machine shop or be super precise because nothing actually fits in that hole. It just has to be made big enough to allow the collar to pass through.
