Sometime around the 1980's to 1990's U-Haul, the famous rental truck company, also rented out a bunch of YM336D Yanmar tractors. As you can imagine, these tractors were not always treated as kindly as you would treat your own personal tractor and they had a lot of clutch problems. Apparently, U-Haul got tired of replacing expensive Yanmar clutches and so they had their tractors up-fitted from the normal 13 spline clutch disc to a more durable 22 spline clutch disc.  

This kit will ONLY FIT the YM336 tractors that were converted by U-Haul to the 22 spline clutch. How can you tell? There will normally still be a U-Haul decal on the tractor but you can also just count the splines on your clutch. 13 splines is the normal YM336. 22 Splines is the U-Haul version. Many U-Haul tractors also had 8 bolts in the rear wheels instead of the normal 6 bolts.
