John Deere Tractor Oil Pressure Switch

This little switch is what turns on your "low oil pressure" warning light. You should see a red oil warning light before starting the tractor and it should go off immediately after the tractor starts. If either of these do not happen, you might have a bad switch. When this switch fails you will either not get a light before starting or the light might not ever go off. 

How To Install:
Unscrew your old switch located beside the oil filter. Use a little thread sealing paste on the threads being careful to not get any into the hole. We do NOT recommend thread sealing tape because it can tear off and get into your oil system and clog things up. Reinstall using a 6 sided socket. Do not use a wrench or you can distort the housing and cause the switch to leak. Do not overtighten
