Shop Notes:
There is much more to a starter than a part number. Not all starters that have the same part number are even close to the same quality. Many are garbage. 

We actually spent a LONG time researching and testing starters while trying to find a starter that we were comfortable selling and was a good value. Many of the starters we tested were very inexpensive but either failed very quickly during our testing or lacked the power needed to crank over a Yanmar diesel. This starter ended up being our top pick. Not the cheapest starter you can buy but also not the most expensive. Our test starters have lasted a very long time (still going) and we are very happy to be able to sell them to you.
