Yanmar Tractor Ignition Switch

This is a very nice quality switch with 2 easy grip keys. This switch has the correct momentary counter-clockwise position for glow plugs and is a direct replacement for the factory switch. All of the terminals are labeled exactly like the original so swapping over the wires is easy.  

Tech Tip:
Almost all Yanmar tractors came with a glow plug but, on a few models, it was an option. If your tractor did not come with the optional glow plug then your tractor might have come with a switch that only has 3 terminals. Please see the third image for wiring instructions for that switch. 

How To Install:
Unscrew the big round nut on the top of the switch using pliers. Remove old switch after writing down which wires go to which terminals. Install new switch just like the old one came out. Tighten round nut using pliers. Tip: Wrap with a leather glove or piece of rubber inner tube to keep from scratching the chrome nut.
