HYDRAULIC QUICK DISCONNECT KIT - DIY

We have had numerous customers ask us "what is the best way to add a dump trailer, or top-tilt, angle blade, or log splitter to a tractor" and, after a couple of years of testing and design, this is what we came up with. Ultra high quality couplers made in Italy and thick laser cut aluminum brackets made in the USA! This makes for a very sturdy and durable setup. 

Features:
One Handed couplers! You just push the hose in with one hand and pull them out with one hand. You no longer need to slide a collar back with one hand and push in the hose with the other. Just shut off the tractor. Neutralize any hydraulic pressure by moving the valve to all positions, and push in your hoses. This also works as an easy breakaway and prevents damage if a hose were to get caught and yanked on.

Safety Note:
Do not EVER attempt to connect or disconnect a hose if the tractor is running or if any part of the system is under any pressure!

2x One Handed Quick Disconnect Couplers - (Made In Italy!)
2x Thick Aluminum Mounting Brackets - (Made In USA!)
12x Bolts, Locking Nuts, & Washers - (No Idea Where They Are Made :) ) 
2x Rubber Plugs To Keep Things Clean (colors may vary depending on availability)

Installation:
This is designed to mount to your rear fender or a bracket that is mounted to the rear of your tractor. Since there are thousands of different configurations of tractors out there, we have to leave the exact mounting location & method up to you.

You Will Need (starting at the front working back):

  • A way to get the pressure out of the pump. We recommend THIS
  • A hose to go from that fitting into your control valve. We recommend THIS
  • A hose to go from your control valve back to the tractor. The same hose above works great. 
  • A way to get that hose flowing back into your tractor. We recommend THIS for most Yanmars (contact us to be sure if you are in doubt)
  • A control valve to control your new project cylinder. This valve MUST be a)- Open Center and b)- include a built-in relief valve. If you do not need float we recommend THIS. If you do need float then we recommend  THIS.
  • If using the valves above then you need 2 of THESE fittings to hook the hoses into the valve.
  • Then you will need hoses to go from the control valve to this quick disconnect block.  We recommend 2 of  THESE if 24" is long enough for your chosen mounting location.  
  • You will need 2 of THESE adapters to make the hoses fit into the quick disconnect block.
  • Then you will need the male quick release fittings. We recommend 2 of THESE Which match the style our female couplers use.
  • You will need adapter fittings to screw into the male fittings to fit the hose. We recommend THESE 
  • Then you will just plug your hydraulic hoses into this quick release block and you are good to go!
