** Please verify the current tire size on your tractor before ordering. It is not uncommon for tires and wheels to be changed over the years. You need to see 5-14 or 5.00-14 on your old tire in order for this to work.

Shop Note:
If you are only replacing one tire, please check your old tire diameter. 5-14 tires can come in a variety of overall diameters depending on the manufacturer. These different diameters are usually not significant but you normally want to try to match them as close as possible. The tires that came on the Yanmar tractors from the factory were Firestone tires. Firestone lists the 5x14 tire being 24" in diameter so that is the size we stick with. 

Shop Note #2:
So what is the difference between a 5-14 and a 5.00-14? Typically not much. "5-14” is often just a shortened way of writing "5.00-14". Some manufacturers do, however, offer tires with an overall diameter slightly larger or smaller and mark them with the decimal version. We stick with Firestone's dimensions because Firestone tires were original on the tractor. 

My Rant Of The Day :)
I'm not really sure how the older tractor tire sizing came about but it would sure eliminate a lot of confusion if it was done like older automobile tires, where there was a wheel diameter, a tire width, and a tire overall diameter marked right on the tire.
